Bitstop Gains 70-299 Credential

Mr Wilson L. Chua, Bitstop president, passed the Microsoft 70-299 Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network.

This certification exam measures the ability to implement, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot security in a Windows Server 2003 network infrastructure and also plan and configure a Windows Server 2003 Public Key Infrastructure.

Launching of Microsoft Unlimited Potential

The Manpower Skills Training Center of Don Bosco will be launching the Microsoft Unlimited Potential project on June 29, 2004 at the Don Bosco Academy, Green Meadows Subdivision, Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga at 10:30 am.

ElectronicaManila Launch Tonight

ElectronicaManila is a community of electronic music artists, supporters, and enthusiasts. The site features links to an online streaming station that highlights the works from members of the group.

The launch tonight will be at the Temple Bar and Restaurant, Greenbelt 2, Makati, Metro Manila. Launching is supposed to start at 10pm.

Bitstop to speak @ Gov CIO forum

Microsoft is sponsoring a full-day briefing with Sun Microsystems organized by the CIO Forum. Dubbed the Government CIO Forum Open Technology Briefing, the event will tackle the issues involved in the adoption of commercial software vis-à-vis open source.  

It will be held on July 1 at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.   Expect an audience of at least 200 government CIOs and ITECC members.

30 Additional Lines to be activated today

Bitstop expects Digitel to activate another 30 56kbps dialup lines today. Once deployed, Bitstop will have a total of 375 dialup lines to service its Nitro and Extreme Dialup users.

The additional lines are expected to cope with the increased demand for dialup lines brought about by the huge usage of Netrocket internet acceleration service that provides DSL like performance for dialup users.
