PMS & Bitstop conduct WSS

Sir Sonny Santiago of the PMS (Presidential Management Staff) and Francis Vidal jointly undertook a wireless site survey of 802.11 broadcast patterns from Mt Sto. Tomas in Benguet.

The 2 day affair over rough roads generated enough wealth of data for us to process and plan for future wireless 802.11 deployments in the Benguet, La Union and Pangasinan area. Photo is the view from the propagation site. Notice the Lingayen Gulf in the background.

The survey made use of Cisco BR350 and 13 dbi Omni Antenna mounted on the PMS site in Mt Sto. Tomas. We were able to get a 50db rating at SM Baguio in the city of Pines!
