In response to numerous inquiries, Digitel DSL subscribers has been without Ragnarok traffic for about a week now.

This has been affected by Level-up’s recent decision to shut off international game play access. It is not due to Ragnarok servers being down. Digitel DSL subscriber traffic to LevelUp servers were using this international link.

The good news is that Digitel has a fiber link that is currently being activated to provide a smoother gameplay experience once the link is activated. When? The un-official word is : within 2 weeks..

Bitstop dialup subscribers are not affected by this issue as we have direct links with LevelUp in Vitro and PHIX.

Mr Wilson L. Chua, Bitstop president, passed the Microsoft 70-299 Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network.

This certification exam measures the ability to implement, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot security in a Windows Server 2003 network infrastructure and also plan and configure a Windows Server 2003 Public Key Infrastructure.

The Manpower Skills Training Center of Don Bosco will be launching the Microsoft Unlimited Potential project on June 29, 2004 at the Don Bosco Academy, Green Meadows Subdivision, Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga at 10:30 am.

Microsoft is sponsoring a full-day briefing with Sun Microsystems organized by the CIO Forum. Dubbed the Government CIO Forum Open Technology Briefing, the event will tackle the issues involved in the adoption of commercial software vis-à-vis open source.  

It will be held on July 1 at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.   Expect an audience of at least 200 government CIOs and ITECC members.
