PH OpenIX Link now up

Our thanks to the Eastern Telecoms team and Bani, YanYan and CJ on the ASTI side, bitstop's link to the PH Open IX is now fully operational! bitstop is again the first ISP in the Philippines to be cognizant of the importance of local peering AND access to the DNS root to be hosted in the PH Open IX! The bitstop team  that went to the Ayala Port side is made up of John Ang and Anton Chua.

Gravatar Hi Sherwin,

So far patay sinde yung link ni Eastern connecting us to Pheonix kaya di pa naman matest ng husto. Bani tells me that the DNS root will be installed next week.

So far 2 pa lang ata kami sa Phoenix.

Gravatar As of now, we are still waiting on the Europeans (Autonomica is the operator of the I-root) to fix the problem on the DNS so the Philippines can finally use it.
