Internet service has been disrupted at bitstop due to the massive earthequake that hit Taiwan. Sketchy reports indicate that the APCN2 has been hit hard and may need 1 week to restore. Mozcom(Globe) and Digitel Links seem to have recovered. The earthquake occured around 11:30 to 12 noon GMT+8.
Our service is now restored after about 30 minutes of disruption.

MBC (Manila Broadcasting Company) has tapped bitstop to do the live webcast of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival on Dec 29, 2006 from 7:00pm onwards. This will be delayed telecast over ABC5 at 9:00pm.
There will also be a motorcade on Dec 24, 2006 from 1:00pm which will be delayed telecast by RPN Channel 9 @ 3:00pm. This is the link to the Manila film festival 2006 parade.

bitstop is setting up a server for training and lab evaluations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 on a Windows Small Business Server 2003. We will measure its performance vis a vis industry leader Salesforce.com online hosting solution.

DigitalFilipino.com is launching the 6th Philippines School CyberFair Project with the theme, "Empower and Unite!". This CyberFair competition/exhibition requires participants to complete three tasks - publish, reflect, evaluate.
