The Philippine Internet Commerce Society, will have a booth at the above event today at Market! Market!
At around 340pm, there will be a MOA signing between PICS and UP ISSI on the Adoption of APEC Training and Certification Program (Trace) for Business Counsellors partnership project.
As stated in a previous post, APEC Trace is an internatonal training, certification and development program for small business counsellors. It is competency-based, self-directed and self-paced designed to produce effective business counsellors.

Pacific Internet and Bitstop Internet users can now do faster communications with each other. The peering link via NIGX between Pacific Internet and Bitstop Internet have been activated. Coordination on the Pacific Internet side was done thru Mr Migs Dimayuga.

Bitstop was awarded with (2) Two Certificates of Appreciation by no less than Sec Tiglao in simple ceremonies at Quisine 6750, Makati, on Feb 2, 2006. The Gov.ph site was hosted by Bitstop since 2001 and is scheduled to be transfered to ASTI under Sir Denis Villorente.
Bitstop is grateful to Microsoft, Softrigger and the Philippine Government for giving us the honor and opportunity to serve our country. Some photos taken during the event are shown in this link. Melvin Calimag of Manila bulletin wrote this about the Gov.ph awarding.

Bitstop has been invited to cocktails at Quisine 6750 on Thursday, February 2 at around 7:00pm to celebrate the recognition of the Philippine government portal, www.gov.ph by the United Nations as being "on par with the rest of the world" (page 62, attached). In the same report, the Philippines as a whole is cited as having "developed a solid presence across all stages of e-government".
Bitstop is the proud host of the Philippine government portal.
