Bitstop and Digitel are currently testing 30 new dialup lines (pilot number 5147100). Only digitel line subscribers can dial into this number. Please help us test this by sending us your feedback on the use of these lines.

Bitstop has just received a Biometric Door lock that totally eliminates the use of keys. Access is gained by users upon proper fingerprint verification. Pin code and mechanical key are added options to this device. Bitstop Attends Medical Transcription Seminar

Mr John Ang attended the seminar entitled “ Setting Up a Medical Transcription Business” offered by IT Outsource a the G/F Urban Building, 205 Sen Gil Puyat Ave, Bel-Air Makati on December 16 to 18, 2004.

IT Outsource is headed by its president, Mr Eugenio Manuel Gonzalez.

Kuro.ph Online Christmas Party

Bitstop is sponsoring this year's first online Christmas Party of it's community site, Kuro.ph. Network Maintenance and Upgrade

Bitstop will be doing its annual maintenance and network upgrade on Dec 18-19, 2004. There will be a short window of downtime during that period. At the end of the upgrade, Bitstop will have migrated one of our E1 (2,048Kbps) to a DS3 (45Mbps) circuit from PLDT. We are also expecting dialup connection rates between Bitstop and PLDT LEC to be higher due to the transfer from copper pair to pure fiber connection.

Blogging ala Microsoft

Bitstop gears up for Contact Center Operations

Bitstop Network Services, headed by John Ang, Wilson and Jane Chua, signed a deal with Mr Tim Keefe for Five9.com to provide a projected 300 contact seats for BNS's proposed medical transcription service. The deal was witnessed by no less than Five9.com top executives, headed by Mr Brian Silverman (President) and Mr Sanjay Mehta (VP engineering & Operations). Bitstop Attends Dell Server Training

Dell 24x7 Technical Training was attended by both Bitstop Dagupan and Naga senior techs. The picture taken last November 24 to 26, 2004 at Astoria Plaza shows the training session in progress. The training was conducted by AMTI as part of the TAP (Technical Alliance Program)
