The awards are for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that have adopted the best practices in IT, especially in using the Internet and other new communication and information systems and technologies, to achieve various operating efficiencies, improve productivity and profitability. SMEs are companies with assets ranging from 1.5 million pesos to 100 million pesos.
